T-Gewehr Dies

Good Evening All,

Just off the phone with CH4D and got some bad news. Going into the call, I thought I was a few weeks from receiving die set for the T-Gewehr. Well, my dies will arrive 2/24!! Still love CH4D and they have allowed me to shoot many unique weapons.

As you can imagine, I would like not to have to wait that long. Any leads on securing a set of dies for the beast.

Thanks,
Randy

You scared me. I opened the thread wondering what had happened to your T-Gewehr. :)

Wow! I see that now. If one of my students did that, I would be grabbing for my green pen! LOL

Alan at Warner Tools will take this on and looks like 3-4 months before the beast roars again.

Get a video! A T-Gewehr is on my list of things to add to my collection in the long run.

Good Afternoon,

Diemaker is asking for dimensional specification for the T-Gewehr's chamber. Anyone have them handy?

Thanks,
Randy

How about sending them a chamber cast? Not difficult. Instructions and videos are on the internet.

Just be sure I would first check with you die supplier to confirm that they can use a cast as a good source for dimensions.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but what legalities are involved in owning one of these? Is it considered a C&R, class 3, destructive device?

Specifically exempted--- treated as a plain old C&R bolt action despite being .53 caliber. Just make sure your state doesn't have laws against bolt action .50 cal and up.
