SVT40 Scope and Mount

Aside of the incorrect surface finish and rough traces of making under it, simply because it is crudely made and features a fantasy rifle number. This isn't even actual cyrillic prefixes. If you scroll to the bottom portion of this website here you can actually see the reproduction mount with "rifle serial" "6Г321", whereas on your mount it is "6Г308" -> https://www.m9130.info/svt-40-sniper-rifles

“Finnbear” special. I remember when they first hit the market, probably 1993 or so. No one really knew any better back then, internets forums being in their infancy. I think they were positively reviewed at Gunboreds into the 2000s. Finnbear had three of them at the Dallas Mil. show in summer of 1993 I believe for I think $600 per set.

The easiest way to spot the Finnbear fakes is to look at the underside. The inspection markings are always the same, so seeing the '10' is not good. Real mount inspections will differ from one mount to the next.

The serial numbers are also usually poorly faked like this one (using a 6 for a Cyrillic Б), but fonts can be tricky sometimes.

At first I thought maybe a Finnbear until I looked at the underneath photo's (no markings on this example). I have to admit that the Finnbear are the best reproduction mount on the market and the person who made them must have know something as some line up with the serial numbers of legit snipers.

The scope is also not original and a modern reproduction.

Reproduction (fake) mount and scope.
