Steyr bnz45 T-Block

It does have a lightly cleaned stock, still I couldn't pass on it for two features that even among the late bnz45 rifles is unique for it:
a) there is a large gap between the barrel shoulder and the receiver. Almost as if the last turn wasn't done. Since the headspace is fully correct and the barrel is factory aligned, it surely left factory that way.
b) the bolt handle isn't not only lightly swept to the back, but additionally not fully bent down. Very tough to catch in one picture, maybe I'll do a side by side comparison with another bnz45 bolt handle from the rear

Other than that, "textbook bnz45". Almost all phosphate finish, walnut stock with laminate handguard, super crude gas shield and receiver milling traces, 3 under the bolt handle.

That bolt shroud has to be one of the worst ones I have ever seen too, gorgeous.

Looks like not just the stock, but the whole rifle had a rough life, lots of pitting and worn finish.

Very nice! The button recoil lug is unusual. I've only seen those in late MO rifles.

The bolt root is worthy of note as well. They must have picked these pieces out of the trash to get it out the door. It’s really cool!

Very nice rifle. Every time I get closer to pulling the trigger on an excellent quality pre-war rifle, these oddball late-war pieces pull me back.
