Standard Modell, 1934

I am supposed to be downsizing, but couldn’t resist an early matching Standard Modell.
I think 1933 and 1934 were the only two years SMs had receiver dates, and now I have both years.
This one is pretty typical of the type. The barrel has the gauge mark, and the triggerguard
has the Chinese characters, although based on condition, and the lack of any import marks, i
doubt this one went to China.

Early 'B' series rifles are nearly impossible to get matching.
I just got my first last year. Great find!
