SS dagger help

On a piece of this vintage I would expect a little more wear than that on the motto, possibly enhanced?? Being the scabbard is repainted makes a person wonder..if you zoom in on the maker mark you can see some blackening going outside the lines. Although as said a minty blade with nice cross grain. I am no expert either, from the examples I have held in my hands that is the darkest motto I’ve seen

It does look good in the pictures , it's the 2nd I've seen for sale near me in 3 years. I do think it's been touched up paint wise , I'll be able to tell in my hands, I'm just wanting to see what everyone else feels about it, as far as being dark in the edges. I've got a few other daggers and 2 hj knives with dark motos , hard to say how it survived that long , I like the cross grain in the blade ,

There seems to be minimal drag marks on the blade. At least I think that is what I am seeing towards the edges of blade, could be glare. If the blade was left in the scabbard without a lot of taking it out and putting it back in, the scabbard would protect the blade and the motto considerably. I don`t think the blade has ever been polished or overly cleaned. That motto is pretty dark though.
Pic is motto from another Eickhorn M33

This one does have a lot of runner marks and the makers mark on the other side is partially missing

Here is an early Eickhorn ground rohm for comparison. In similar condition as Grimlins photo. That motto just seems a little suspect to me, although I do take a little extra caution than the average person and I am wrong more times than right

Also a SA for comparison, you can kind of see a trend on motto’s. IMO.
