SS contract bnz43 with SSZZA4 stamp and Deathshead K stock

swjXE, tried my best re closeup of the Deaths Head stamp on the stock. Attached a few pictures showing it with different light positions used.

The “3” there matches known good examples, mine has a “2” there. Looks good to me! I’m a bit surprised it doesn’t have any even partial “Circled V7” on it but that’s Steyr for you, not always predictable.

... so this now confirms it originally started as SS contract rifle and not being a depot built rifle?
