Still waiting for my Type 1 rifles I ordered to arrive later this year or early next year. I would love to see pictures of Type 1 and Type 2 rifles that guys have here. Would you all post pictures? Thanks in advance.

Here are quite a few:

Here’s my type 2. I was in the que last year for my type 1 but it was going to coincide exactly with my move out of state. We didn’t have a destination picked out yet, so I told Rick to give it to the next guy, alas. Good stuff.

Does the Type 1 have an adjustable gas regulator like the Type 2?

Also, does the Type 1 work with unmodified ZB mags? I read somewhere that it did.

It always looked like (to me at least) that the SSD FG42s lack the spring loaded but stock buffer system. The recoil on the SSD guns looks a lot harsher compared to there SMGs. Can anyone shed light on this?

The SSD BD42/FG42 has the spring loaded stock buffer tube . IMHO these are the best copy/reproduction on the market , same goes for all of their other Reproduction Weapons .

I'd love to have either type. That pistol grip on the T-1 looks so awkward. Someone please correct me.
