sling for 1937 portuguese mauser

I have a 1937 portuguese contract mauser that i want to get a sling for. These models have a different sling mount from the standard mausers. Does anyone know where I could possibly get one? Original would be amazing, but it doesnt have to be.
 
Originals are almost impossible to get. I have seen 2 in 20 years and one is one a gun I own.

I think the poster is referring to the slings for the 937A contract.
Attached are images of an original sling and the factory blueprint for the sling.

These slings can be quite easily replicated by using one of the 1950s/60s era Austrian slings used on their early FN FALs. They are the correct width, use the correct type buckle and even have the two holes with double sided button on the end.

They were common a few years ago, and cheap, I sold a bunch for $25. They still show up on eBay, but quite a bit higher now.

STG58 slings are a good alternative but they are about 6" longer than an original but should fit up fine.

Somehow I have missed all of these replies. Thank you all for replies, very helpful.
I dont need an original sling, a replica or something that fits and doesnt look totally out of place will work fine.
So one option is to go for a STG58 sling.
Is the swivel the same as the one on the G98? So buying a G98 swivel will fit my rifle? Can I combine that with say an MP40 sling? Will a standard K98 sling not work if I get a swivel for it?

Are these slings a better fit than the K98 ones? Or is it just because they might be cheaper? Since I have to buy the buckle seperately anyway I mean
 
They are different slings then the k98. The hole spacing is different. They are made to take the buckle. That was the point of the thread I thought.
 
I will post a photo later tonight if one of these with attached sling swivel on my Port. 937
 
If you wanted to go the repro route, at the front makes a decent MP40 sling. All you would need is the Gew98 style buckle. Of course its ink stamped MP40, but you can always remove it or just look the other way.

Reproduction WWII German MP40 Sling

Myself personally Im going to modify a STG58 sling to the correct K98k length and repunch the holes with a proper teardrop shaped leather punch, cut a slit and add a button and buckle to look the part. Ill post my results when I get it finished

As promised earlier, here is a photo of one of the post war ( this one is dated 1960) Austrian stg.58 slings on my model 937 Portuguese K98k. Compare to the photo of Bruce’s original.

Looks nice! Is that an stg sling and a Gew.98 buckle?
