That was mine, I had a dealer sell it for me on-line. It was really a nice rifle and I always loved the double strike. I always wondered how it made it through, defiantly not up to the usual pre-war standards for fit and finish.

Neat example. By the time this one rolled out, Erma's DSM sales had declined, and they were using some of the actions (without the Deutsches Sportmodell model designation, sporter stock, different trigger guard and front sight) to create the commercial E 35 (or S 35) model. They were not bound by price restrictions on that, so they could make more money selling the same rifle as a commercial model. They were still clearing out DSMs into late 1938 when they signed a contract to make KKWs. Judging by the E 35 serial numbers, this was likely made near the end of 1935.

Yes, this was a Jack the dog auction and I cant blame you one bit for using him. Best photos on the web bar none and he gets top dollar for his listings. One of the nicest ERMA's I've seen.

Yes, he does a great job and he is really a good guy. As a guy guy he knows what angles are important to photograph and describe for the buyer. He has one more of my trainers waiting to list, a GECO. Not as nice as this Erma but still a nice rifle. It killed me to sell my trainers but having a roof over my head trumped my trainer collection.
