Second opinions on byf 45

I'm not well versed on my late war rifles, and I'd like some extra eyes on a potential buy. Byf 45 in the 47000s, no block. Serials and stock are good, just wondering about the band screws and front band. Do they look ok? Front band is ok not having the second hole?

I suggested he asked here when the band would transition from two hole to one hole. I am away from my books and busy at work

Everything looks fine.. the small dimple was these during production for proper placement of the hole. We never notice it cause the hole was punched. It was very important it was in the correct spot. As production proceeded the dimple was phased out during the band stamping process. If what's there is any indication the rest is probably very nice..

They look ok. I’d never let band screws alter my decision in a late rifle, not many of them have the original screws.
Agreed, I wouldn't doubt a significant portion of these left Europe already having screws from crates or other places being slapped on by the guys mailing them home.

The front band seems much more worn than the rest of the rifle, but if the price is right I wouldn't worry to much about it, there are genuine examples out there with bands with bigger differences.
