Sauer High Turret Help

I somewhat recently purchased a sporterized Sauer high turret as a restoration project and have a few questions. First, I’d like to know whether or not the base rifle is, in fact, an original high turret. Next, I’d like to know the feasibility of finding a scope to go on the rifle. Ideally I’d be looking for a DKL scope/rings, but would just like anything that would typically be found on a Sauer HT. It also appears that the rifle is missing a screw assembly on the rear base which I would like to replace. Below are some pictures I’ve taken of the rifle. If any more are needed, let me know, I’d be happy to learn more about this rifle.
Thanks and cheers

Can't see a lot from your pictures. But it does look promising to be an original sniper. Please post better pictures.

Finding an original JPS Turret scope and rings will not be easy. Good luck in your search. You are the best place on the web for German snipers.

Here are some more photos. I tried to get clear photos of the rw markings on the front and rear bases (It appears as though there is one faintly present on the rear base) as well as the eagle/37 marking on the receiver. Hope this helps.

Yes that is better. Looks like an original sniper to me. Sauer turrets are hard to find. Good luck in your search for the correct parts. Well worth restoring.

This might be super nerdy, but the turret mounting screws are really nice and untouched. They always seem to be buggered with, which I hate.
cool project

I agree, an original Sauer turret sniper rifle. Quite amazing: the amount of filing on the receiver ring. Seems they had some issues to make it fit. I wonder if that was because scope bases were supplied to Sauer by Mauser, and Mauser maybe had a bit different tolerances on the receiver.
