RSHA PPK 1939 and 1940

I picked up my 2nd RSHA PPK today from 1939, 242876k w/ magazine 242862 k1. Sorry for the photos as its night and I'm at my table. Also pictured is 1940 280229k which has been posted before.

They are interesting. Had some and let them go, always searching for one that could be tied to a listed owner. A few do exist in collections.

Had to settle for two orphan numbered magazines matched to PPK #249301 K which was issued in 1941 to SS-Sturmbannfuhrer Reg.-und Kriminalrat Dr. Heinrich Rennau, an instructor at the RSHA Fuhrerschule in Berlin at the time. Later he commanded a Sonder Kommando of an Einsatzgruppen in Russia as well as the Gestapo office in Brunn (Brno). He survived the war. The magazines made it to the USA, but the gun?

Have a few other orphan mags tied to the EG list, but not as interesting as the first two.
 
for those paying attention check every PP and ppk at shows cause lots are still sold a commercial guns by folks who don't know the SS connection.
