Discussed here with some mixed opinions ......

Yes I do see that Slash. Still it does worry me on not being WW2 German. Or these are extremely rare . Or sub contractors, I never seen one in a kit. But that does not mean anything. Since there are mixed opinions on this maker.

I'd say why not? I'm not versed into the specifics of rg34s all that much but I do know that many times I've been proven wrong regarding unknown maker codes or unexpected dates. I thought for example that the messkit maker ESB had never made 1945 dated m31 Kochgeschirren until I saw one but only one! I've seen some weird patrinenkisten 41 makers as well with the unknown knw44 markings or nkw44 I rcan't remember or the rjm45 markings on an all soldered part p41 as well. We should not assume that we know or have seen it all regarding fieldgear, there's so so much to learn.

Here again, I thought all pouches with that type of leather were post ww2. Well, not this one as it's a kkd1942 from Posen.

'adf' is also the code At The Front uses to mark some of their reproduction gear.

"Markings: We stamp these with "adf 1943" and a Waffenamt."

This then begs a question directed to A T F, (with accompanying link/photos), if they ever made repro HKWs and when... so, one has been dispatched and will report back...
