Recent Acquisition: 1941 C. Riese Berlin rubber aka radiator hose frog.

Just picked this up in our own trader section; a 1941 C. Riese Berlin rubber frog (aka radiator hose frog) that came with a matching 1939 W.K.C. bayo and scabbard set. Sadly the bayo sharpened and no need to include.
The rivets are even more unusual of course. I suspect a field modification but who's to say when or where on that.

Yes the rivets of this rubber frog are not typical.Field repair could be real. Web frog looks ok to me.

Nice frogs. Can you post some pics of the reverse of the tropical and a couple with the details of the retention strap? Thank you.
