Leave it!
I did one once at new owners request - the laminate lines are no longer how they should be and show a dip to the glue lines. The ONLY way to make it good is to remove disks (though you are safe there) and contour sand to restore the glue line shape - problem is, the RC stamps are deceptively deep and will still ghost show unless you go SO deep that a cupped buttplate will then stand proud of the stock. I also did a LIGHT strike early BCD stock once and it worked fine, but you MUST restore the glue lines by shape sanding the stock contour.
Simply, DON'T do it. It won't look right - it'll be a bubba RC.
