Radfahrer Gewehr 98 1914 Spandau

Thanks again so much everyone! It really is amazing to hear of so much fondness and admiration for Craig. I really now wish I would have been able to know him. To hear these stories makes the rifle to me so much more special! I am sure he is smiling down right now knowing you all are enjoying his rifle again! We are all just holders and caretakers of these artifacts of history and I am so honored to be the next caretaker of the Radfahrer Gewehr #1293
Rick here you go: https://www.amoskeagauction.com/112/240.php rifle failed to meet estimate first time around and was sold later on.
thanks cj! That is really cool to see how it sold at amoskeag..when I purchased the rifle it did not have the luminous sites and sling so those must have been taken off from the last owner.

Really glad that Craig's rifle ended up with a forum member here. Thanks for posting!

My point being, Mr. Brown's generosity reached a lot of people.
Did I suggest otherwise? Many knew him far better (to say the least); his generosity to me I have mentioned countless times and will continue to reference his comments every opportunity.
