PTR44 bolt in original receiver

Asking here since I know there are some owners of the PTR 44's. Does anybody know if a PTR44 bolt will work in an original receiver? I know somebody that needs one for his Class 3 registered MP44

I have heard of people using original bolts in the SSD product but not the other way around. SSD made an excellent product as far as accuracy and looks - but their heat treating was horrible.

I ended up replacing most internal parts (bolt,op.rod/gas piston, sear and hammer) with original parts, the SSD parts broke or simply wore out.
No help from SSD of course.

Great Copy but really sad about their heat treating.

I have one of their FG42 I clones and my extractor wore out within a box of ammo. Back then they were still SSD and sent me a new and "improved one". I fired two shots and checked the extractor which then already had significant wear. I decided to stop and it has been a safe queen ever since.

The only product I had a great experience with was their BD38 (MP38 Clone) but sadly all 300 were confiscated by the RCMP.

Looking at all of the internals to me they look like MIM parts, you can clearly see where the mold sections joined.

I had a BD38 as well, maybe for a year before it was declared prohib, loved it so much that after I turned it in I bought the last dewat from Wolverine supply.
Not the same as a wallhanger, but at least I can fondle it once in awhile.
