Today my new K98k arrived. The guy served as Hans or Karl in the German Wehrmacht vom 1938 after being made in Borsigwalde/Berlin. Date of birth was 1938. Later he was send to Norway where he finished the war and was changed into Ole or Lasse with a new barrel in 30-06.
Now I'd like to dress him up a little bit with a new sling. Are there any pictures in this forum or in the www how to mount the sling properly?
BTW, it might strange to you that a guy from Germany aks you Americans how to mount the sling on the German rifle, but here in this forum I feel better than in Germany.
