They were painted with enamel black paint from the factory. Was the barrel painted at one time or is it enameled like the sacm35
I am glad you scored this one FB. It looks absolutely gorgeous and puts mine to shame. These are a LOT more affordable to shoot than their 8mm Mauser brothers, and a lot easier on the shoulder. Anytime I go to my local indoor range (max distance 75 ft), I always take mine.
I am trying to have a contact in Poland track down a copy of this reference booklet (on rimfire training rifles). If successful, I will try to share any information gleaned from it.It was an awesome weekend to pickup 22 training rifles.i picked up a polish kbk.s.wz31. FB and I ordered a copy from an eBay seller that found 2 copies for us.For what it is worth, found a Polish website where you can get a PDF copy:
https://chomikuj.pl/wladyjantz/Ksiazki+militarne/WIELKI+LEKSYKON+UZBROJENIA
I think you have to pay for this service (and there was no Google Translate link to English for me to figure any more out)
Look for WLU 1939 t. 147
It was at the FB Radom factory display booth so NFS.How much do they want for them in poland
Yeah in one of the photos it looks like 13409. Action cover? I am not seeing it….Mark can you tell the serial number on the rifle in Poland? Did you notice in first picture it looks like it has an action cover. My rifle has the same cleaning rod as this one
It was not... that one comes from the private collection. Not for sale anyways. Serial no. is "13409" and I'm the author of the pics above. It was at the FB Radom factory display booth so NFS.
