So you consider bolt mismatches complete mismatches?
How about a vet bring back with mismatched safety? Still a complete mismatch?
The real question is this:
If a complete mismatch BCD 43 is on a table at a gunshow next to a bolt m/m BCD 43 - for the same price and in otherwise identical condition - which one would a person buy? This is a rhetorical question of course, because we all know the answer. There is simply no comparison.
Is “mostly matching” the same as “matching?” Obviously not, but that ship has sailed in this specific situation. A 100% mismatched weapon is a pile of parts, and - respectfully- a rifle with a replaced extractor isnt.
I get the philosophy of both sides, and I respect both sides, but I’m looking at the net result. Sacrificing a ratty pile of parts vs saving several other weapons that can’t be shot or displayed is just a math problem to me.
