This summer me and my little family(Wife and son)went too Hanstholm Bunker Museum..
The German soldiers started building the huge Bunker complex in 1940,and was fully operational in late 44 at the time they were stations 1500 soldiers to operate the large bunker..
The BIG cannons were removed sometime in the 80ties dont ask me why
Visit MuseumsCenter Hanstholm and see Northern Europe’s largest fortifications from the Second World War.
The site comprises Hanstholm’s unique museum bunker, which housed one of the four large 38 cm guns during the war.
At the bunkeren has been constructed a beautiful new building wihich houses an interesting exhibition about the »Atlantic Wall«.
Don’t forget to set aside time for a walk in the beautiful countrydside surrounding the bunkers. This trip can be made with the old munitions train.
Welcome!
My pictures does only show alittle part of the huge bunker complex
ENJOY
