Opinions on Camo helmet please

I received this out of Russia from a dealer I have felt comfortable with. After seeing Ruffin's work, I am beginning to doubt myself. Any opinions welcomed. Are we allowed to post Hungarian and Romanian helmets, Russian?

sorry impossible to say really.. ground dug relics aren't really my thing.

It's hard to say really,I posted one similar in the chicken wire helmet thread.Some of the paint looks really fresh but I suppose it's appearance all depends on where it was found etc.Was it dug up?sorry buddy but someone else will have far more knowledge than me on helmets like this. I bet it displays nice though.

Relic helmets are really entire sub-genre of German helmet collecting and have their own following. Many helmet collectors have no interest in them at all - there is too much good conditioned stuff out there to bother with relics. But be aware that relics are being 'upgraded' just like regular helmets with paint, decals, wire, etc.. to boost their resale value.
