Opinion and value of K98 Sling?

Hey everyone,

Wanted to ensure that this is a legit German K98 sling. Only marking I see on it is the "fmb" and does anyone know what manufacturer that is? Just wanted to make sure it was legit and what the value of it could be? Thanks!

It's legit, 100$ is a fair price. Maybe someone else can weigh in on manufacturer.

Thanks Reich. Did they only make slings and is there a time period for rifles this would be correct for? Were they located in Germany? Google isn't helping much.

I'm not sure when they made slings but by the company name it made basket type furniture and yes they were located in Germany (Nordrhein-Westfalen). Many company's during this time made many items that they were not known for just like some of the firearms made here for example.
