Odd SS Scope or Fake?

Here are copies of old black and white photos of an odd scope. It has SS Rune markings on the tube. I thought I would post here for some opinions. This is photos only and there was no scope to examine. Thanks.

I believe the "SS" markings are total fantasy, but the similarity with ZF41 scopes on Czech Optikotechna scope is very interesting.
Perhaps made soon after the war, before chainging their name to Meopta in 1946. Any more info on this scope?
Or where are these photos from?

I think the markings are added to enhance it like you say. Pictures came out of an older collection. Scope probably post war made.
