The rear sight collar is the replacement I bought; however I would like to find one that matches. It was removed prior to me gaining ownership. I also have a replacement stock flat butt plate. Please advise if anyone knows where I could find a correct stock for the year if possible.

Thanks man! I was worried for second.I sold this rifle… The step in the barrel is not turned down IMO. The rifle fit perfectly in a Mauser ‘37 stock with no gap. Here are higher resolution photos:

Matching 42 1938
Here is a recent acquisition from gunbroker. This rifle is all matching down to the bandspring and screws, just missing the cleaning rod unfortunately. The blue is very nice as is the walnut stock. Looks to be a Luftwaffe rifle, though the acceptance mark took a ding at some point.www.k98kforum.com
