Newbie helping a friend out.

Hello everyone.
Name is Matt Spradlin I am an avid short range benchrest shooter trying to help a fellow Shriner out.
He is trying to get information on a K98 he has but is not a computer type person.

So please bare with me as I read and ask questions because I have ZERO knowledge on these rifles.

Helping a friend with a BYF 43

I have a fellow Shriner who has this BYF 43 he may want to sell and is trying to get information and maybe some kind of value. All the numbers match (14225 or 4225) except the barrel which is 43D178 I have zero knowledge on these rifles and any help is greatly appreciated.
