Third Party Press

New sniper find.

I have this minty closet find BNZ sniper.
First story, closet find

Yes the farmer that had it lightly stained it 50 years ago. Said it shoots real good:)
Second story, farmer find

Yep, did not get reserve. So now I want to bother to get a scope
Third story, Rock Island Auction. Bonus lie marked bold, "it did not meet reserve", versus result $ 6463 on Rock Island Auction website:

My apologies ahead of time, but I hope that I can find an original WWII German Single Claw Scope with mounts for a sniper rifle that I own. I know that this could be an impossible task, but worth trying. My father-in-law brought this rifle home as a trophy at the end of WWII and I suspect that the rifle scope was removed before it was surrendered (for obvious reasons). In any event, any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Mark 816 830 2391
Fourth story, taken from gunboards, where claimed his father in law brought it back home as a trophy.

Should have come to this nice forum in the first place
First story, this K98k Forum here is nice.

Thank you kindly...all the guys on the other forum wanted to do was ask me how much to banter about the serials under the stock etc.....and then to buy it:). Over and over again.
The metal is the best I have ever seen. And been doing this for 40 years. But I live in Europe. hard to find stuff there.
Just need a mount and scope. Could have had one 4 years ago. Turned it down for 4500.
Second story, again taken from gunboards, how much people on K98kforum just banter about serials under the stock. Bonus lie #2, he claims to live in Europe (makes one wonder how his father in law could had brought it home as trophy?).

Actually I do know of a spare scope and mount for a Single Claw. But I don't want to be treated like an idiot, as well as he keeps editing his posts and pulling parts from what he said (that is btw why I am doing long quotes in here, he cannot edit those).

What is your problem? You don't have to make up lies. Just tell you bought this rifle and are in need for a scope, you don't even need to mention RIA. But please just stop telling bullshit.

I’ve copied and pasted what I said on Gunboards since it’s where I originally discovered this guy’s thread. (sorry). But, I believe most of us all think this way..
Here is what I said in response to Georg.

“Yeah, see the problem with this guy or any other like him (sorry girls) is that once you have revealed deception, no one ever ever trusts you again in the gun world. And this world is quite small when you look at the long time and even new collectors. I’d guess we and others are 1-2 degrees of separation away from each other so it’s easy to confirm info between ourselves and call out the Sith. I’d rather sell a rifle for nothing and keep my name clear vs sell a rifle for 500 dollar profit and always be known as a “humper, faker, a$$ clown, sheister, thief”

Now always known as a pariah in the collection world, until his name changes and comes back as “Peter Luger” and tries to sell another goofy story.

Thanks. I like it just fine. Does not bother all the people asking me to sell it....:)
Yes. I was looking at it during the auction. Nice gun even with the stock issues. I did not bid on it. Here are some auction photos I had from Rock Island posted above.

I've stayed out of this BUT some of this just rubs me wrong. Like this "all the people asking me to sell it" comes off as smarmy. The nonsense and ever shifting story I've seen before. IMHO just another drive-by JO

Four days of being owner of a SC, and already outed from shady behavior just to hide whatever shame from buying it (I'm assuming).

Gotta be new record. Going to be harder to find scope now.
