The markings show it was originally a 1944 manufactured JP Sauer gun...everything else points to the fact it is a Mitchells Mauser abortion with heavily sanded stock, pimp shined bolt, and force matched humped numbers. Makes a fine shooter usually, has 0 collectability to it...just do a search for "mitchells mausers" and prepare to have your eyes opened on these, which sucker a lot of new collectors...
