New member here- couple questions on markings

Good morning. New member here, I recently picked up a Russian capture K98 and I know the "237 1939" is the manufacturer and date and the "x" designates a Russian capture, but I was wondering what some of the other markings may indicate. Any help would be appreciated. For $500 I'm happy with it. Thanks in advance!

left to R... [firing proof & serial; Barrel maker code (who and when); reciever; inspection(s) of receiver and work done}

The maker is actually the 243 on the receiver ring for Mauser Borsigwalde. The 327 is the steel lot code, a part of the barrel code.

I agree, in the current market $500 is a good deal for an RC.
