New made bakelite?

Hi all,
I realize bakelite is a non starter in the US because of the formaldehyde but is there anyone out there making grips etc either of bakelite or something close in looks? This is late in the game for us here but I would like another option for looks.

I saw this and was going to make the same suggestion, History Arms. They use a phenolic resin that is very, very similar.

Type 1 ( E ) dont have any bakelite, only the G type has bakelite grips
