I just circled around on this. It looks like Al wasn’t made obese and killed by an Amerikan processed food diet, having grown up in a rural area in the 1950s - 1960s. I couldn’t find his obit. Born in 1933 he would be 90. May still be with us. God bless him.

I found an article that said he moved to Tampa, FL. Looks like he passed a while ago, unfortunately.
