my first helmet, good or bad

I know this one is a real clunker compared to the ones I see here but it is my first. I just hope its authentic. my thought was "if you are going to fake one why do a clunker"

There are always that learning not curve. Post future purchases befor buying until you are sure of yourself. I've only made that mistake once.

Not a helmet guy either but I'd be proud of that piece. It looks to be in great condition and is just what I'd expect. I'm VERY leery of any that I see with barbed wire, straw, concrete, shingles and especially the fluorescent paint. Exotic freshies? I'm not sure I would buy one of those if the soldat who made it was holding it. Just my $.02.
