Sorry to bring this to your attention, it is the worst part of this hobby. Any dealer worth his salt would take it back.I have only owned this rifle since November 2nd. It was purchased from a reliable source who also didn’t know there was an issue. This is a huge pill to swallow but unfortunately you are correct, sir. Upon my first disassembly of this rifle’s bolt this evening which was spurred by this conversation I have come to find that the components of the bolt (firing pin carrier, flapper locks, bolt body) are not matching to this rifle. Although this is tremendously depressing, this is what this forum is for. To learn. Thank you for the knowledge leading me to this discovery, you truly have a good eye.
*if the seller was a friend he likely didn’t know the rifle was bad, at least I would hope!
