MP44 Trunnion marking

Does anyone know the meaning of this “an” marking on the underside of an MP44 Trunnion?

Yes, part manufactured by C. Brettenmeuler, in Bretten. WaA C10, from 1945.

Ok, now this gun has a date stamp receiver of 44, so might it just be a receiver stamping that sat and was assembled in early 1945?

Doubtful, if you don’t mind - would you share the full serial number and any markings you see on the underside of the receiver forward of the mag well?
