I was going to respond, (But) my Kindergarten class was having a Shop day - where we were building nice display cases and using the spare time between shop tool usage to oil our K98's. Next week we will be learning how to re-load. I can't wait.

My father collects antique muzzleloaders. He says that popular and famous makers were often faked just like now, but when it’s a 2-3 hundred year old firearm it’s hard to tell if it’s a really old copy or not…

I just had to add fuel to the fire, any Mitchell’s fanboy would truly believe this rifle is period correct and is historically accurate. This was a nice receiver completely ruined and someone got hosed….
