I just picked this up last week. Looks like a vet bring back. This is a Menta 7.65 pistol which is a copy of the Beholla which was made for the Imperial Army during WWI. After the Great War, the firm of Waffenfabrik August Menz of Suhl continued to produce the Beholla as the Menta. Another copy was the Stenda.
A not often encountered pistol that rarely is found with it's original holster and magazines in this condition. Note the soldier's name in the holster and tiny spots of white paint on the holster, probably from sitting in a closet being painted.
