Mauser Mm410B and Ziess Zielklein Scope

I picked up my first Mauser yesterday, an Mm410B, with Zielklein scope on original Mauser mounts.

Rifle S/N is 205490. It has a crack in the stock and a scar right through the BUG proof mark, and the bolt is also missing the extractor. I am expecting replacement of the extractor is going to be a bit of a mission...

The scope S/N is 52722 and while in pretty good condition externally, the optics don't seem very clear and the reticle has some blemishes on it. Unfortunately I got the feeling they were treated/stored in a way which may not have reflected their value.

Is there any way to service these scopes? Are there any manuals out there which discuss their maintenance/repair?
I have Jon Speed's book, however it does not seem like he discusses optics much.

I am expecting Vaughn99 will at any moment come up with a manufacture date for the scope, so I will thank you in advance Vaughn.

I will post pics once I figure out how to upload them...

regards

Jon

I also have a Zeiss Zielklein which is in good shape, except for broken crosshairs. I wold love to find someone who
is competent to repair it. A couple of the optical repair specialty shops won't work on these early German scopes,
unfortunately.

Thanks for the info!

Hello,

Well here is the info this one is roughly 1936/37 the scope was made. I can do the maintenance work on these scopes also. when a fury the last 2 weeks of project might be a few weeks before I can tackle it.
