Mauser Berlin 243 code Kriegsmarine

I added another Navy gun to my collection and this one was local.
Not cheap but worth buying since KM rifles do not come along very
often. This one is North sea region marked as are most of the Mauser Berlin rifles
that were issued to the Kriegsmarine.

Whats interesting is that all of the Oberndorf Naval issue rifles I have are all "Ost" sea marked.

this disc almost looks like it was stamped N and 0 then the fleet # over the 0 very high condition rifle and I wouldn't expect any less from the mauser master... :cool:
 
Looks to be in minty condition too Bruce! Great to see. These early war examples sure exhibit fine bluing and finish.
 
Very nice.
I have a KM marked 243-1940 on a high serial g block number, but sadly no markings on the take-down disc.
