Thanks Mike for doing such great pictures, as always they are first rate! Especially like the good shots of the waffenamt markings, super sharp and clear, no ambiguity there!

Really a nice bayonet and pretty tough to find, not as tough as 1939 or 1942, but I haven't been able to record as many 1941's compared to how many seem to have been made.

OK Paul, here it is in excruciating detail :thumbsup:

As you can see it is matching...interestingly it appears the "bym" on the scabbard is actually in quotes...pommel is marked with E/938, button has a droop stick E/73. Ball of scabbard was poorly struck, it may be E/938....
