Great colection, the MKB42 magazine with the short ribbing, i have only seen on a MKB42W rifle once.

Does the short magazine have any markings or is it just a shortened 30 round magazine?

I've seen a number of these short mags now and I've never seen one with markings. To me they all appear to be after the fact shortened.

short mags

Not too big a deal to make a 15, 20 or whatever from a 30. Made a 15 from an original that had the bottom crushed that I use a lot and a 20 from a repro.
The short one works great for shooting off a rest. I'd think a 5 or 10 should be doable.
