a very nice m/41B indeed... the bolt does not look blued though... could be lighting. also the front sight hood is missing on the B here.. they were not typically present on the m/41's

ahhhh! a pre1955 picture.... not updated to the B until then

Right Andy that's an original m/41 with a German Ajack (A. Jackenroll Optische) scope on it, the pic probably taken in the 40s. The m/41s were rebuilt in 1955 when the Swedes took the old German Ajack scopes, waterproofed them, coated the lenses and did a few minor upgrades to the rifle like bluing the bolt and the sight hood and called it the m/41B. The m41s with the Swedish AGA42s and 44s were taken out of service and sold for surplus. The Ajack scope was far superior to the Swedish AGAs so the Swedes saw no need to rebuild them.

M/41s and m/41Bs have the reputation of being one of the finest bolt action sniper rifles ever built.
