I stand corrected , I was wrong on what the last Digit was on the Bill`s SC it is 163 H it sure looks to be a match . That will be great if the two can be reunited . Best Regards

I saw the rig Saturday. It is pretty nice. If I had it I would be after the rifle.

The rifle owner has been contacted several days ago and has not responded as of Sat. afternoon. I sure would be responding. I don't get it? Maybe a health issue, vacation, who knows.

I've only seen one (in person) legit SC scope and rings. It was an Estate sale in Reading, PA about four years ago and a vet bring back. It wasn't list correctly ( the auction didn't known what this was) although, it hardly had any finish left and had the look of being "played with" by the vet's kid's ( a lot of this happened in the late 50's and 60's). Anyway, it was my understanding that this scope/mount was stripped off the rifle by the Vet.

Anyway, a few other bidders also spotted this and the finally price was in the $2,000. plus range.
