Longtime G43 owner, looking to learn

Hi all, I acquired a g43 back in the early 90s. Didn't know much about it but have been motivated to learn more about it recently. I've put an adjustable gas tube in and was able to finally send a few rounds down range with it last week. Had two mis-fires and ended up finding out the firing pin was broke, new one on the way but otherwise a joy to shoot. There are a few themed CMP events at my local range I hope to participate in.....but that 8mm is not cheap! A few pics....

You'll probably get better traction on this posting it over the the G/K43 sub rather than the welcome forum.
