Acquired this from a good friend. Matching less the cleaning rod. I understand they made about 10,000 of these and this one falls at the very end of the serial range. This one shows use I presume from training by the SA. Is it known (beyond training of course) if these saw any further use? Anyhow one can’t help but appreciate the prewar quality of these rifles. I’d like to find a proper DR and DRP example now.

I don’t think OG cleaning rods were serialized? I understand if you have a serialized one though. From another pattern of rifle?
