Laminated jhv 43 k block G.98/40

Something I had not seen before. This is a late jhv 43 rifle with a matching laminated stock. Until this one, I had only seen laminated stocks on jhv 44's. Note that this one also has a reused bolt body with remnants of an "A" from 43M production.

Outstanding.
Honestly I'm not too surprised to see a late '43 with a laminated stock. By the way, the vestigial 'A' on the bolt is from a 43M rifle. I've seen (and own) examples of late Hungarian small arms using left-over or possibly rejected German contract parts for analogous and compatible Hungarian arms, but not the other way around until now. I'm still waiting to find a laminated, proper 43M stock on a matching rifle.

glad to see you ended up with this. I was helping also trying to figure this one out. No documented examples. Now seeing Peter S. has one this helps. All these things I was seeing made sense and the rifle
was correct "not messed with" So it was a go for me. The other was nice as well..
