Another Sauer Turret Scope that has the Sunshade in the white/no black paint , this I believe is the 3rd one I have seen that has the Sunshade in the white .
I suspect the scopes will be close in serial range to each other

We're these shipped without being blackened? I know aluminum is a difficult material to get paint to stick to. Perhaps it has come off over the years.

It isn't Aluminum but Zinc. So even worse in regards to be painted.
