I know I’m a bit late, but this is a real nice one. I’m a big fan of these late Imperial rifles.

I had some time tonight to take off the top handguard. Looks like it was repaired at some point. Not too disappointed since its just a wall hanger... Is this a sign of a duffle cut?

Yeah sometimes they cut the handguards on these too. There's also a chance it broke on its own, but I lean toward duffle cut if the stock is cut as well.
