K98 zf41 barnfind

Hello guys,

I got my hands on a barnfind k98
It has a rail for the zf41.
Hard to read but number 43 on chamber and i found a small eagle with 26 on side of sightmount. I think that means it is a Ar43 mauser?
Does anyone know how much were made with the rail?

It was found hidden in the roof if a barn.
In the town of Houffalize.
Had a hard time but cleaned up ok.
Does anyone know how much zf41 k98 were made in 1943 by Mauser?

Cool find! Wonder what the inside of that barrel looks like.
I’d boil the metal, clean and oil the stock and make it a wall hanger or lamp

Ok , put in a barn after it was fished out of a river , obvious water damage

no,i know the finder very well.
It was in an old roof of a wooden barn,wrapped in what once was a cloth. Stayed soaked for a long time. Wooden building was in poor condition.
Have many ground dug and waterfind riffles etc. This is not it.

Sad to see it in this shape but still wonderful to see stuff from ww2 still being found places untouched for nearly 80 years.

Would be a cool display rifle.
