Hello,
A friend of mine showed me a 98k that he found in the wood.
Of course the wood part is no longer there, after 80 years on the ground, only what is metallic remains. He found the main part with the barrel and the trigger, and also a bit further, the bolt disassembly discs.
The germans used to break their riffles in 2 before surrending.
He didnt find the buttplate anywhere, usually it is found on the same place as the bolt disassembly discs.
So i was wondering, is there some model of 98k without any metal buttplates?
