k98 Ammo Pouch ID

Good afternoon. I was hoping that someone could help me identify an ammo pouch that I recently picked up. No stamps under the flaps of the pouch only the numbers 0/0676/0039 stamped on the reverse. I searched this site looking for a document that listed makers mark, ID numbers, etc. but could not find anything. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

0/0676/0039 is the Reichsbetriebsnummer (RBNr) for an unknown maker. They also made bayonet frogs and other items with the same or similar marking(s). On some occasions the marking is in three lines with an added date; 42 or 43. Your pouch dates from the same period. The firm was located in the area of Offenbach, Hessen but as previously stated has not been positively identified. There is no known "master" list of RBNr or RFNr from the period.

Thank you very much for the information. I also noticed this 'drawing' under the far left flap. Could be a couple of leaves but I'm not sure if there is any meaning.

It is actually not unknown, but belongs to Ludwig Krumm AG - Offenbach am Main, a manufacturer for plenty of leather field gear goods.

Thanks Aaron. Is there a "master list" that contains maker names based on the ID numbers?

There is no master list, but a combination of old forum posts, plus referencing here: https://reichsbetriebsnummer.com/de/index.php can get you pretty close to every code you are looking for. At a minimum you will know the area the manufacturer was located.
